Privacy Policy
The short version: no accounts, no personal data collection, no data sales.
Last updated: July 23, 2026
What we collect
Details does not offer user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, or payment information. The only data collected is standard, aggregated usage analytics: which pages are visited, approximate geography, device and browser type, and how visitors arrive at the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google’s own privacy documentation. We see this data only in aggregate — we cannot identify individual visitors from it, and we do not attempt to.
Affiliate links
Product links on Details point to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. When you click one, Amazon sets cookies to attribute a potential purchase to us. What Amazon collects on its own site is governed by Amazon’s privacy policy, not ours. We never see what you buy — only anonymous, aggregated commission reports.
What we don’t do
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone. We do not run third-party advertising networks, tracking pixels from data brokers, or fingerprinting scripts. There are no accounts, so there is no stored profile of you to breach or misuse.
Data retention and your choices
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. You can block analytics entirely with any common content blocker or your browser’s privacy settings — the site works fully without it.
